Pedal reviews and demos for professional guitarists.

Reviews and Demos:

Our pedal review and demo videos are designed to be the most comprehensive compilation of information we could gather on each piece of gear.  You will find a detailed written review, a video demo with high quality audio that demonstrates every nuance of the pedal’s character, a list of artists that use the pedal, and and schematic of the pedal along with a brief history of where the circuit came from and what mods were made to the original.

Distortion/Overdrive

We’ve taken the liberty of combining these two types of pedals, along with fuzz, and pretty much anything else that introduces saturation, overdrive, distortion, clipping, whatever you want to call it, into your signal.

Pitch

All octaves, harmonizers, whammies, anything that adds or changes your pitch.

Compression/Sustain/Noise Gates

This group is going to consist of all of your compressions, sustainers, limiters, noise gates, etc.  While these usually have a more subtle effect on your tone, they are nonetheless vital to some of your favorite artists guitar sounds.

Delay

Digital, analog, tape, you name it;  if it adds a delay, it’ll be here.

Equalizers

Anything that adds or takes away selectable frequencies will be here.  Parametric, graphic, low and high cut, etc.

Modulation

Choruses, phasers, flangers, ring modulaters, frequency shifters, rotaries, and all of the specialty pedals boutique manufacturers are putting out these days that modulate your sound into crazy territory.

Reverb

If it makes you sound like you’re playing in a hall or stadium instead of your bedroom, you’ll find it here.
